云梦祥山博物馆是目前湖北省同级博物馆规模最大、水平最高的博物馆。云梦作为文物大县，出土了众多享誉中外的珍贵文物，如睡虎地秦简、最早木牍家信、战国磨光彩陶、东汉华夏第一楼陶楼等，部分珍品已被国家博物馆、故宫博物院等机构收藏。该馆于2009年以欧阳祥山先生的个人捐赠建成，建筑面积1.8万平方米，外观古朴庄重，系统展示了云梦的历史文化与文物精华。馆标设计融合了五大元素，集中体现博物馆的文化内涵。博物馆形象首先以博物馆建筑轮廓为外形，象征这里为解读历史之地；二、融入“云梦睡虎地秦简”元素，19根简片线条既还原秦简造型，也寓意云梦文物发掘始于秦简，并追求永续发展；三、秦简线条中央标注1983，代表建馆年份；四、左右分别融入卧鹿与立鸟纹样，源自云梦出土楚文物，象征吉祥、和谐与进取精神；五、底部采用秦简隶书书写的云梦祥山博物馆，既呼应秦简书法艺术，也致敬欧阳祥山先生捐建之谊。此标识整体呼应文物特色，彰显云梦深厚的历史底蕴与文化传承。

Yunmeng Xiangshan Museum is currently the largest and most advanced museum of its kind in Hubei Province. Yunmen, as a county rich in cultural relics, has unearthed numerous precious cultural relics renowned worldwide, such as the Shaudei Qin Bamboo Sheets, the earliest wooden letter from a family, the pottery with polished luster from the Warring States period, and the first pottery building in the Eastern Han Dynasty, among others. Some of these precious items have been collected by institutions such as the National Museum and the Palace Museum. The museum was built in 2009 through the personal donation of Mr. Ouyang Xiangshan, with a total area of 18,000 square meters. Its exterior is simple and solemn, systematically presenting the history, culture, and cultural treasures of Yunmen. The logo design integrates five elements, concentratingly reflecting the cultural connotation of the museum. The museum’s image is first represented by the outline of the museum building, symbolizing this place as a place to interpret history; second, it incorporates the element of “Shaudei Qin Bamboo Sheets”, with 19 bamboo strips lines that not only restore the shape of the Qin bamboo sheets but also imply that the excavation of Yunmen cultural relics began with the Qin bamboo sheets and pursues sustainable development; third, the central part of the Qin bamboo strip lines is marked with 1983, representing the year of its establishment; fourth, the left and right sides respectively incorporate the patterns of a lying deer and a standing bird, derived from the unearthed Chu cultural relics in Yunmen, symbolizing auspiciousness, harmony, and an enterprising spirit; fifth, the bottom uses the clerical script of Qin bamboo sheets to write “Yunmeng Xiangshan Museum”, which not only echoes the Qin bamboo sheet calligraphy art but also pays tribute to Mr. Ouyang Xiangshan’s donation of building this museum. This logo as a whole echoes the characteristics of the cultural relics, highlighting Yunmen’s profound historical heritage and cultural inheritance.
