湖北省关爱退役军人协会是2018年湖北省机构改革新组建的单位，将省民政厅的退役军人优抚安置、军队离退休干部安置管理职责，省人力资源和社会保障厅的军官转业安置职责，以及军队有关职责等整合。作为省政府组成部门。会标主要采用了五星、爱心、谷穗、齿轮、协会的中英文名和五湖四海，“八一”字样等元素构成。这些元素蕴含协会至关重要的文化信息与使命担当。

The Hubei Veterans Association was newly established as a unit through the 2018 institutional reform in Hubei Province. It integrated the functions of veteran welfare and resettlement from the Provincial Civil Affairs Department, the resettlement management of military retirees from the Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department, as well as certain military-related responsibilities. It is a constituent department of the provincial government. The logo mainly consists of elements such as the five-star, the heart, the grain ear, the gear, the name and English name of the association, and the words “Eight One”, and other elements. These elements contain the crucial cultural information and mission commitment of the association.
